Exactly where I’m supposed to be ✊🏽✨ Enough. I’m not here to explain what you already know to be true. What I will tell you is that we are not the protestors of the 60s. I skipped the pledge of allegiance in high school & my teachers took offense. We took a knee during sporting events in an attempt of a peaceful protest & select individuals chose to take offense. We’ve marched for years. We’ve shouted for years. We’ve protested for years. This is the start of a peaceful protest in Philadelphia. This is yet another day where a variety of colors are standing in unison demanding that blacks & browns are valued. Why is that so fucking hard, America? 1=1. No one living-being is greater than or less than the next living-being. One equals one. My struggle IS your struggle. Until you acknowledge & accept that fact, your cities will continue to burn. Change. To the allies who stand in unison across the US & the globe, thank you ✨
